Bio

I am a proud graduate of Southern Local.  I was inspired to become a Social Studies teacher when I was in junior high and Mrs. Oelker was my Social Studies teacher.  My calling to teach Special Education came in my freshman year of college during a course on students with special needs.  I currently teach Inclusion Social Studies 8, Learning Center American History and Government, Inclusion Social Studies 8, Inclusion American History, Learning Center Junior High Social Studies, Inclusion American Government, Learning Center OGT Prep, and Inclusion Social Studies 7.  I love teaching and working with our students.  I also enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities.  I have coached 8th Grade Volleyball, Varsity Softball, J.H. Cheerleading, and I am currently in my third year as the H.S. Cheerleading coach.  I am the District Facilitator, meaning that I am in charge of schoolwide community events.   I am also the facilitator for the high school Social Studies Deparment and the facilitator for the high school Building Leadership Team.
