Bio

I am a proud graduate of Southern Local.  I was inspired to become a Social Studies teacher when I was in junior high and Mrs. Oelker was my Social Studies teacher.  My calling to teach Special Education came in my freshman year of college during a course on students with special needs.  I currently teach Learning Center High School English, Learning Center High School Government, Learning Center Junior High American History, Learning Center High School World Contemporary Issues, and Inclusion English 10.  I love teaching and working with our students.  I also enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities.  I have coached 8th Grade Volleyball, Varsity Softball, J.H. Cheerleading, and H.S. Cheerleading coach.  I am the District Facilitator, meaning that I am in charge of schoolwide community events.   I am also the facilitator for the high school Social Studies Deparment and the facilitator for the high school Building Leadership Team.
